The judges commented: "Cornerstone were chosen for their bold values and remarkable growth, becoming one of Scotland’s largest third-sector care providers. Their robust three-stage training program has effectively addressed recruitment and retention challenges, reducing turnover. Supported by staff and business alike, the initiative impressed with strong testimonials and a clear impact on employee development". The award was presented in recognition of our new Professional Practitioner Programme which aims to give new support practitioners at Cornerstone the best possible start to their career in social care.
