From 24th October 24, all employers have a legal duty to take ‘reasonable steps’ to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace.  This follows the passing of the Workers Protection Act (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023.

At Cornerstone, we are proud of our caring and person-centred culture and are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone. As part of this commitment, we have a Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Work Policy.

All colleagues are aware of the role they have to play in preventing sexual harassment and promoting respectful and professional behaviour.  There is a clear reporting procedure in place and support is available to colleagues if they experience or witness sexual harassment. Any report will be taken seriously and the leadership team is fully committed to learning from any incidents and continuously improving how we prevent harassment from taking place.
